Michael James Cashin

1934-2014

Mike Cashin Sr. was a  longtime member of the FYC, his son Mike Cashin remains a member.  He had many friends among us. It is with sadness that we note his passing.

From his obituary:

Mike loved the outdoors, sailing, kayaking, scuba diving, swimming and cross country skiing. An enthusiastic sailor, he especially cherished his time sailing with his family on Grand Lake, the Bay of Fundy and the coasts of Nova Scotia and Maine. Mike was an active member of the Fredericton Yacht Club and was Rear Commodore for several years. He enjoyed spending time working on his sailboat and gamming with his fellow sailors in the yard.
